Software User Interface Design.

So, this Software User Interface Design
will be dealing with that very aspect

which is the front end of the software and
with which the user will interact.

So, user interface
is the front end of the application view

to which user interacts in
order to use the software features.

So, user can
manipulate and control the software

as well as the
hardware by means of user interface.

So, user interface is a very important one
where the user can interact with the

software and also with the hardware
concerned in the system.

Today, user interface
is found at almost every

place where
digital technology is playing its role.

So, right from the computers, mobile,
phones, cars, music players, airplanes,

and ships everywhere where the digital
technology is playing its role,

the user interface is always there.

User interface is part of software and is
designed in such a way that it is expected

to provide the user insight of the
software.

And user interface provides fundamental
platform for human computer interaction.

So, user interface must be very much user
friendly.

So, UI can be graphical, can be text
based, audio, video based and depending

upon the underlying hardware and the
software combination.

So, text based means
we are having the console where we

can type our commands
and we can get the required outputs.

So, graphical means here we can have some
GUI interface with the help of which you

can interact with the software using mouse
clicking and all.

And we are having some audio video
interface where using the voice,

using the video, we can do the
communication.

UI can be hardware or software or a
combination of both.

The software becomes more popular if its
user interface is attractive, simple to

use need not to have any separate
dedicated training.

So, simple to
use, responsive in short time and clear

to understand and
consistent on all interfacing screens.

So, the user interface should be also
unambiguous.

User interface is broadly divided into two
main categories.

So, they are the command line interface
also known as CLI and graphical user

interface also known as GUI.

So, here we are having one sample screen
for the web based application shape.

So, here the graphics logo and the company
name will be there.

And here we are having this main menu,
the menu bar.

And this particular menu bar will be
containing different menus and options.

Here this is the navigation menu.

So, it can also scroll
if you require multiple

such options under
this navigation menu.

There is one graphic, there is a home page
and the text copy will be there.

And here you
can have say we are having the list of user

objectives
that is objective number 1, 2, 3 up to n.

So, there is one sample GUI interface
which is for your consideration.

So, design evaluation cycle.

So, let me go for that the technique that
how this user interface will be designed.

So, preliminary design will be done.

Build prototype number 1 of the interface
interface and user evaluates the interface.

User will do the ranking,
they will be putting

some feedbacks after
using this interface.

Then evaluation is studied by the
designer.

And if it is say that the interface is
good enough.

So, the interface design is complete.

Otherwise, design the respective
modifications which are required according

to the feedback of the users and after
doing the evaluation.

Then build a prototype number 1 interface
for the next version.

And then this process will be repeated.

And when the user will give the positive
feedback, then the interface design will

be considered as a complete.
